Overview of ANA-SNAPG Activities
Building on its work to date in advancing quality NP education, NONPF will seek to promote increased attention in NP curriculum on the significance of ensuring competence of graduates who will care for older adults. NONPF will establish three main activities for this initiative: 1) incorporate sections relevant to geriatric issues and content in the revision of the NP curriculum guidelines; 2) establish a Web-based resource center for NP faculty, to supplement the curriculum guidelines revision; and 3) offer a pre-conference seminar focused on geriatric content topics for NP education.
