Overview of ANA-SNAPG Activities
APNA's goal is to develop and implement a Web based sub-specialty program in Geropsychiatry, with five 1-2 credit CE programs.
APNA is on target with their planned activities. Activities have included establishment of a committee to oversee the project which included members familiar with both Web-based education and Geropsychiatry; conducting a survey to determine the five most important topics for all psychiatric nurses regarding gero psychiatry; and content development.
The program is scheduled to launch on the APNA Web Site in 2004.
